What is Vintage Re-purposed?
A. At Queens and Daughters we specialise in original Vintage English bone china tea ware. These items are pre-owned and may have been used. While others have never been used and have previously been showcased in china cabinets or locked away in a cupboard. Some may show signs of usage such as fine cutlery marks on some plates or cutlery items. We have a high standard at Queens and Daughters, and this is reflected in our china giftware. We are meticulous to ensure there is no significant damage or wear and tear to grazing, no cracks or chips, There may be minor manufacturing imperfections such as smudges to the pattern or gilding or firing dust in the glaze. None of these minor imperfections affect the use of the items and are all part of the charm of owning original vintage pieces which have been previously loved and treasured.
What’s the difference between Fine China and Bone China?
A. Fine China - A higher quality than porcelain, fine china is beautifully translucent and pure white, but it is also surprisingly sturdy, as well as microwave, dishwasher and oven safe.
Bone China - The highest quality china of all, bone china items are translucent when held up to the light. Despite its delicate look and feel, bone china is the most durable of all.
Will Vintage Original pieces have any damage?
A. We sell mint condition china. If there are any damaged items, these will always be described, and these items are sold separately at a discounted price in our ‘Sale’ items.
How should I care for my items from Queens and Daughters?
A. We recommend that all our items are washed by hand. They should not be placed in the dishwasher or microwave. 
Do you ship internationally?
A. No not right now, however our intention is to do so sometime in the future.

Can I send an item as a gift?
A. Yes you can mark your order as a gift at the checkout and add a gift message. We can send the order direct to the recipient, with your gift message and without prices. Please ensure you set the delivery address as the recipient's address at the checkout. 
What if I want to purchase a particular colour, pattern or a larger number of place settings?
